ABOUT THE ARTIST

Matt Ramsey a.k.a Ramsey The Slasher is a visionary artist and graphic designer from Palm Beach County, Florida. He specializes in explosively colorful and emotionally charged depictions of characters, iconic objects, and striking landscapes in a style that distorts the observer’s perception between reality and the deeper subconscious.

Through the use of mixed media and ever present symbolism and patterns, Ramsey creates balance with asymmetry and juxtaposition. This harmony is apparent in every layer, meticulously woven from the background to the foreground. His proprietary style of cross-hatching coupled with surrealism took Ramsey over 20 years to develop.

It is with this attention to detail and vision for increasingly dynamic platforms that has resulted in the partnership between Ramsey The Slasher and JGD Designs in order to bring the aesthetic of ‘Succulent G’ to life.
